Day 01 : Arrive Kathmandu
Assistance on arrival by Incredible Voyages representative and transfer to hotel. Day free for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Today you will have Kathmandu City tour visiting Durbar Square, Hamuman Dhoka, Manchhender Bahl, Kumari Temple, Pashupatinath Temple with cremation grounds, Bodhnath Stupa and Swaymbhunath Stupa. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03 : Kathmandu / Bhaktapur / Dhulikhel
In the morning drive to Dhulikhel enroute visiting Bhaktapur. In Bhakapur visit Durbar Square, King Palace, Nyatopala Temple, Bhairabnath Temple, Dattatraya Temple and Pujahari Math. Overnight at the hotel in Dhulikhel.
Day 04 : Dhulikhel / Zhangmu
Early morning have scenic drive to Kodari (Nepal - Tibet border) through the beautiful Nepalese countryside. After necessary border formalities both at Nepalese and Chinese immigration points, check-in to hotel in Zhangmu for overnight stay.
Drive uphill to the highest plateau of the world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape offering sheer feeling of standing on the roof of the world crossing over Lalung La (5,050 m). Tingri, one can also enjoy the magnificence of Mt. Everest (8,848 m). Overnight in Xegar.
In the morning continue your scenic drive crossing over Gyatchu La (5,220m), the highest pass en route to Lhasa with a high chance of encountering the Tibetan nomads with their animal herds like yaks and sheep. Overnight in Xigatse.
Day 07 : Xigatse / Gyantse
In the morning have sightseeing to the Panchen Lama's Tashilhumpu Monastery. Later drive to Gyantse. On arrival in Gyantse visit to the Kumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery.
In the morning drive to Lhasa. You will have full day picturesque drive crossing over Karola (5,010M), Kambala (4,794M), colorful Yamdor Lake and the Tibetan lifeline river Brahamputra (Yarlung Tsangpo). Overnight at the hotel in Lhasa.
In the morning visit Potala Palace standing on the top of the Red Hill. In the afternoon visit Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Bazzar complex just outside and around Jokhang Temple. It is the main Tibetan bazaar which has been able to sustain Tibetan culture & heritage until today. Overnight at the hotel in Lhasa.
In the morning visit Drepung Monastery at the foot of Mt Ganpoi Uze and founded in 1416. Afternoon visit Sera Monastery founded in 1419 and one of the best preserved monasteries in Tibet. Overnight at the hotel in Lhasa.
In the morning visit Norbulinka Monastery, one of the most relaxing & pleasant parts of Lhasa. Norbu Lingka is taken as the summer palace of Dalai Lama and the Potala Place as winter palace. In the afternoon drive to Country Side which will expose you to a typical Tibetan rural life. Overnight at the hotel in Lhasa.
Day 12 : Lhasa / Kathmandu
Early morning drive to Gonggar airport to board the flight for Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, board transfer to your hotel. Rest the day is free at leisure.
Day 13 : Kathmandu / Depart
Transfer to airport to board flight for your journey back home.
