Day 01 : Arrive Colombo
Assistance on and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Colombo / Trincomale
Drive to Trincomale and check in at hotel. Day free on the beach. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 : Trincomale
Trincomalee is a port city on the east coast of Sri Lanka, about 110 miles northeast of Kandy, known for its finest tropical beaches. The clean and secluded beaches are approached through a tangle of trees where there is white sand sloping gently with miles of picture perfect shores into a clear, shallow ocean. The beaches are used for surfing, scuba diving, fishing and whale watching. The city also has the largest Dutch fort in Sri Lanka. Full day free on the beach.
Day 04 : Trincomale / Anuradhapura
Drive to Anuradhapura and check in at hotel. Afternoon guided tour of Anuradhapura. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 : Anuradhapura / Plonnaruwa / Sigiriya
Enjoy sightseeing tour of Polonnaruwa. Later drive to Sigiriya and check in at hotel. Afternoon: climb the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress which is a world heritage site. Visit frescoes of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 : Sigiriya / Kandy
Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka is a major tourist destination. Famous for the Temple of the Tooth and many other temples the city could be called the cultural capital of the island. Drive to Kandy via Dambulla. Visit Dambulla Rock Temple. Later visit a spice garden in Matale. On arrival in Kandy, check in at hotel. Afternoon enjoy a guided tour of Kandy. Evening witness a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 : Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
Blessed with salubrious climate, breathtaking views of valleys, meadows, mountains and greenery, Nuwara Eliya is in a splendid landscape. Drive to Nuwara Eliya en-route visiting Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Afternoon explore the scenic surroundings of the hill station. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 : Nuwara Eliya / Colombo / Depart
Drive to Colombo via Kitulgala and check in at hotel. Afternoon guided tour of Colombo. Late evening transfer to airport to board flight for your journey back home.
