Day 01 : Arrive Kolkata
On arrival, a warm welcome by Incredible Voyages representative at airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Kolkata / Guwahati / Kaziranga
Morning board flight for Guwahati and on arrival transfer to a resort in Kaziranga for overnight stay.
Day 03 : Kaziranga
Today you will have 01 Elephant and 01 Jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park, known for great Indian one horned Rhino. Overnight at the resort in Kaziranga.
Day 04 : Kaziranga / Jorhat / Majuli Island
Morning drive to Neamati ghat, Jorhat to board a ferry to Majuli. Check into Mishing huts on arrival. Evening walk around the village and interact with the local community. Overnight in the Majuli Island.
Day 05 : Majuli / North Lakhimpur / Ziro
Morning board a ferry to North Lakhimpur (02 hours) and then drive to Ziro. Late afternoon visit local market. Overnight in the hotel in Ziro.
Day 06 : Ziro
Whole day at Ziro visiting Apatani tribal villages. Overnight in the hotel in Ziro.
Day 07 : Ziro / Daporijo
Drive to Daporijo; land of the Tagin tribes. En-route visit villages of the Hillmiri tribes. Overnight at a guest house in village.
Day 08 : Daporijo / Along
Today we will be heading to the land of the Adi tribes – one of the largest tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. On the way we can visit Adi-Minyong villages. Overnight at the hotel in Along.
Day 09 : Along
Whole day at Along visiting villages of the Adi Gallong. Also go for a walk from Kabu village to Paya village – a very scenic walk along the River Siang. Overnight in the hotel in Along.
Day 10 : Along / Dibrugarh
Today we start our journey to Dibrugarh. Along the way we will cross the mighty Brahmaputra River by ferry. Overnight at the hotel in Dibrugarh.
Day 11 : Dibrugarh / Mon
Morning drive to Mon en-route visiting Charaidew Maidam in Sibsagar. The Mon district is dominantly inhabited by the Konyak Tribes. Konyaks are adept artisan and skilled craftsman; here you can find excellent woodcarving, doas (machete) guns, gunpowder, head brushes necklace etc. Overnight at the hotel in Mon.
Day 12 : Mon
In the morning have excursion of Longwa village located at India - Myanmar border. Meet the villagers and interact with them. Return to Mon by late afternoon. Overnight at the hotel in Mon.
Day 13 : Mon
Today we will visit Wangla and Hongphui villages of Konyak Nagas. Return to Mon by late afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 : Mon / Sibsagar / Jorhat
After breakfast drive back to Jorhat. En-route visit Sibsagar. Overnight at the hotel in Jorhat.
Day 15 : Jorhat / Kohima
After breakfast drive to Kohima. Later time permitting, visit Kisama Naga Heritage Complex where the Hornbill Festival is celebrated annually. Overnight at the hotel in Kohima.
Day 16 : Kohima
After breakfast, drive to Khonoma village. Drive back to Kohima and visit State Museum (closed on Mondays). Also visit war cemetery and emporium for souvenirs. Overnight at the hotel in Kohima.
Day 17 : Tribal Festival
Extra Day in Ziro for Myoko Festival in March. Or Extra Day in Kohima for Hornbill Festival (01- 05 December every year).
Day 18 : Kohima / Dimapur / Kolkata
In the morning, transfer to Dimapur airport to connect flight for Kolkata (Flight doesn't operate on Monday & Friday). On arrival in Kolkata, connect flight back home.
